HOW MANY CAMPERS PER SESSION?
Our Camp only allows 10 students per session. This gives us the opportunity to work with you individually to improve your horse skills

| WHAT DAY DOES CAMP START?
We have you show up Sunday evening, then sleep over till the following Friday evening, staying right here in our own Bed & Breakast Dude Ranch. We then have a graduation ceremony followed by a BBQ for you and your loved ones.
(5) CAMPS STARTING: June 27th/ July 11th/ July 25th/ August 8th/ August 22nd

WHAT DO CAMPERS GET TO DO?
During the week you have lessons in English, Western Trail Riding, Drill Team, and Survival. We go on a moonlight ride, an all day ride, have bonfires at night, and go tubing in the creek...you may even get to swim your horse!

|
|
| DO I GET MY OWN HORSE DURING CAMP?
Yes, you are assigned your own horse for the week to take care of, learn to groom and tack, feed and water, but mostly all yours to love. If you already own your own horse, you have the option to bring her/him along.
|
|
| HOW OLD DO YOU NEED TO BE?
Our campers have ranged over the years from 8 to 80.
The criteria is that you are able to lift your own saddle onto the horse's back, unless you come with an older sibling or parent to assist you.
We have an ADULT camp at the end of each season, this year's date is August 22nd.
Each camp is a mixture of ages. We assign your room mates according to age and sex, unless you specifically request to be moved to join a friend.
|
WHAT IF I WANT TO COME WITH MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS?
Every year we have Families that come in with their kids. Mothers and daughters, Brothers and Sisters, and entire Families from other countries that travel with their kids on vacation. Sometimes only the kids will participate in Camp, while the parents stay on in just our Bed & Breakfast program.
We encourage you to "bring a friend" be it a sibling or school buddy....yet if you come alone you will meet others, becoming friends for life!
You work as a team, an individual, and partner during the course of the week....and remember, your best friend will be your VERY OWN HORSE for the week.

WHAT ABOUT THE COUNSELORS?
Most of our counselors are past graduates from our HORSE CAMPS or exchange students from colleges around the world.
You'll meet and make new friends here at camp, learn to work with them developing your own drill team to present at graduation to your family and friends.
Miss Alice is the head-honcho of the Ranch with a sincere interest in honing your skills as a horse rider and having you explore new avenues into your equine interest with "hands on" opportunities, right here at the Ranch.
